Crafted by a small collective of female weavers near the Masinga Dam in Kenya, these baskets reflect a tradition of craftsmanship dating back to 1993. Led by a dedicated chairlady, the weaving cooperative encompasses various production roles, including twisting, dyeing, and weaving sisal fibers.

Supporting the values of dignified working conditions, our partnership with weaving cooperatives empowers women to sustain their families with a flexible income during dry seasons.
