Goosebump’s idea was to balance the gentle charm of pale yellow with a considered, refined design. Butter Yellow sets the tone across the hat, while orange checks follow the brim: a small area of contrast that defines the silhouette.
Goosebump conceived the palette and checked edge; Earth Age brought them into form through its Helix silhouette and cotton-and-hemp crochet craft. From the restrained orange accent to the collaboration label inside, each detail has its place.

Co-developed by Goosebump and Earth Age, it brings together the Helix silhouette, our specially selected pale yellow, Goosebump’s orange checked brim and our own double-sided label. A generous field of Butter Yellow keeps the palette soft. Goosebump’s signature orange is concentrated at the brim, where small checks introduce rhythm and definition. Pale yellow’s gentle appeal meets a precise geometric detail—the visual balance at the heart of this collaboration.

Each hat is crocheted by hand by Earth Age’s team in Cape Town, South Africa. Cotton and natural hemp build the crown and brim stitch by stitch. Undyed hemp brings texture while supporting the hat’s structure. This craft turns Goosebump’s Butter Yellow and orange checks into a design you can feel and wear.

We specifically chose to place the collaboration label inside the hat, keeping the exterior clean. Goosebump designed the artwork, discussing its size, colours and placement alongside Earth Age’s existing label. Our hand-drawn Silly Goose sits on the reverse: a little charm revealed only when you look inside, and a personal connection between the wearer and the design.
