Lorna Murray is a Sydney-based fashion designer, textile artist and university lecturer whose work sits between art, fashion and traditional textile practice. Her designs grew from years of experimenting with colour, texture, pattern and the possibilities of cloth.
The now-signature pleated, foldable Capri Hat began from Lorna’s exploration of two-dimensional materials and how they could become something sculptural, wearable and easy to carry.
